Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country pop music and songwriting rose to prominence on television after she was cast as Alex in the third and final seasons of One Tree Hill. Her first few releases as a country artist were featured on episodes of the series helping her debut album of the same name to make it into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015, was also among into the Top Ten. The decade came to an end with appearances on Dancing with the Stars, TV films and non-album singles. The year was 2021 and the single Doubting Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native that was raised on country music. While she was pursuing the acting and recording professions but her first screen appearance took place in the independent horror movie Dead/Undead (2002) in the midst of being at high school. Her appearances were in guest spots on All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was then on TV in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 between 2008 and 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. She joined the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she stayed up until the end of the show in 2012, about halfway in. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career with One Tree Hill in 2011. Her contract was signed with Elektra Records during this time and debuted the country-rock track "I Won't Go Down" during the show's episode. In 2012, the song was released on Jana Kramer - her first album. The track was featured on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart within the Top Five. Focusing on her music career afterward, she did not stop acting. she was a part of films like Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. Kramer has released her sophomore album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. It was a Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy as well as the Duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed together helped the album reach #3 in the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the charts for country albums. Starting in September of 2016, her two-month stay on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars ended with her finishing fourth. That same year she made a splash with an adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
